Ancon is a building located in the Palermo area of Buenos Aires, designed by Irene Joselevich, Ana Rascovsky, and Billy Gutraich. The heterogeneous distribution within the building's volume and the transparency of the facade allow the project to establish an open connection with the city and its landscape.

Sense of harmony and strength.
The facade is designed in two levels: one made of glass, allowing ample natural light and complete views of the urban landscape, and another one made of bamboo canes, serving as a screen that regulates the climate, privacy, and security.
It is through the scale of spaces, the diverse materiality of the building, and the transparency of the facade that the project establishes an open connection with the city and the landscape.
Designed with consciousness.
Considering the project’s urban location, the favorable climatic conditions of Buenos Aires, and the aim to provide housing in the city, the building proposes an outdoor space of three meters for taking in some fresh air.
